A lithography is a print which is produced and printed in a limited
issue. They are printed on a special type of paper which is suitable for
colours that are normally sensitive to light.
I follow throughout all the stages in the production and supervise to
ensure that the printing is as perfect as possible. The printing plates
are destroyed after the printing of the lithographs to guarantee and
ensure the limited edition. Such is however never the case for posters
that often produced in their millions.
To produce a lithography in say eight different colours will mean that
the original is produced in eight different steps, each of the eight
different colours being printed separately and in full scale.
I always check each and every lithography once they are ready
and therafter number and sign each of the individual lithographs.
