We employ a large group of highly experienced technicians to provide a wealth of knowledge for our solution building services. Due to in-house expertise, we do not use any contracted technicians.

Advent staff use their technical knowledge and skills to implement a variety of solutions.Take the following scenarios for example:

Integration with an old proprietary system is required until it is phased out.
3B2 is required to mimic an interface section of an existing system to ease re-training needs.
A set of automated SGML and/or XML templates is required to comply to a custom built DTD or Schema and no in-house skills are available.
Automatic output from the source data is required to a variety of formats including: PDF and HTML
This same data is then required to be automatically re-marked up to comply to a different DTD or Schema via XSLT.

None of the above example scenarios will ever be a 'shrink wrapped' solution and Advent can provide these services for you.

A solution can comprise of many components of which 3B2 will generally be one of the final stages in a project work flow. Therefore it is imperative that all components of a structured solution are approached correctly, for instance:

Comprehensive document specifications.
Structured data is properly structured.
DTD/schemas are complete, comprehensive and correct.
Data inheritance issues from old proprietary systems addressed.

For these reasons Advent undertake various stages of planning and consultancy as part of the solution development:

Determine customer requirements and goals.
Data, document and structure analysis.
Scope of work.
Functional specification: what needs to be done and how it will be done to meet the scope of work.
Estimates and development plans.
Actual development and 3B2 implementation/integration.
